I’ve built my life around chasing one of the hardest-fighting fish in fresh water—the striped bass. As a striper guide,  I spend my days helping anglers experience the thrill of battling these powerful fish on the legendary waters I call home. Whether it’s a first-time fisherman hooking their first striper or a seasoned angler chasing a personal best, I make every trip about skill, excitement, and lasting memories.

Years on the water taught me the value of dependable, high-performance gear. I needed rods that could stand up to the punishing runs of big stripers while still delivering the sensitivity for precise presentation. When I couldn’t find the perfect rod, I created it—StripeX Rods.

Every StripeX rod is designed, tested, and proven right here on my trips. If it can’t perform day after day in real conditions with real clients, it doesn’t make the cut. That’s why anglers trust StripeX—it’s gear built by a guide who lives it, not just sells it.
